The path you select for your educational journey may lead to a vocational or technical program, a community college or a university. Arizona has educational programs to prepare you for most every profession you choose. Come explore the many choices and opportunities available to you.
Arizona Friends of Foster Children Foundation– This foundation hosts a Post-Secondary Scholarship program funds tuition and fees for young people who age out of foster care in Arizona and wish to attend a university or community college. They also have the Focus Forward Fund which can help students address the curve balls life throws at you so you can keep moving forward on your educational journeys. So, when your car breaks down or you need extra help paying for textbooks, it doesn’t stop your forward progress. These funds are not intended to be used for long-term, ongoing expenses.
Foster Care to Success (FC2S) – FC2S partners with organizations, foundations, and individuals to deliver scholarships to foster youth across the country. This allows them to support foster youth by providing individual scholarships.

Fostering Success (at The University of Arizona) – This is a campus community that connects students that have experienced foster care or are struggling with homelessness, to peer mentors to help with academic struggles, social engagement, and basic needs. The UofA staff are available to provide referrals for needed services and resources in the community. Each student participant that actively meets with their peer advisor qualifies for priority registration- that means first pick for your classes along with athletes and honors students!
New Start (at The University of Arizona) – Fostering Success is proud to partner with New Start, a six week summer program available to incoming freshmen and is FREE to attend for those that qualify for the Pell Grant.
